Grade | Base Price (V Points) | Overall limit | Minimum players to be picked up |
A | 100000 | Bidding cap for grade A player is 1000000 (Ten Lacs). So, if any player hits this cap and there are multiple teams interested in that player, the bidding will be decided by drawing of lots between interested teams. 1 team can acquire only 1 player by participating in the cap. | 3 (Maximum) |
B | 50000 | Bidding cap for grade B player is 500000 (Five Lacs). So, if any player hits this cap and there are multiple teams interested in that player, the bidding will be decided by drawing of lots between interested teams. 1 team can acquire only 1 player by participating in the cap. | 9 |
a) Total Maximum Amount that can be spent by team owners is 3000000 V points for Males.
b) The bidding multiple will be 20000 up to 500000 points. After 500000, the multiple will change to 50000.
c) Owners who will be playing for their own team will not be part of the auction and they will play for their own team. However, they have been graded and accordingly they will have their base price. Their purse will be deducted at the beginning of the auction with 3 times their base price. For Example, if Team X is having 3 owner players and 2 of them are grade A and 1 of them grade B then total of 750000 V points would be deducted from their purse and they can bid for only 1 Grade A player and 5 Grade B players. In case all 3 grade A players are also owners, total deduction will be 900000 and they will not be able to bid for any Grade A player in the auction.
d) All the teams will be given 1 Retention Card. This card enables the team to retain any 1 player from their team from VPL 1.0 after the auction for that player has taken place. They will have to use the retention card for a particular player within 10 seconds after the bidding for that player has concluded, else the player will be deemed to be sold to the highest bidder. Each team can only use this card once during the auction. Once the retention card is used, the bidding amount will be deducted from the team using the retention card.
e) The Player list along with all the player details will be provided separately.
f) In case a player backs out from VPL 2.0 after the auctions, then the committee will provide the team with a player from a similar grade. However, this can only be done if we have a waiting list of players.
g) The teams have a week’s time to make their wish list.
h) Final auction date is 11th December 2022. The timings are from 2pm onwards
